I’m Thomas a full-stack software & hardware engineer from Belgium.

I’m passionate about designing, building, testing and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services. Adept in technical analysis and project management, with a history of working on projects that primarily used Golang.

Designing and developing innovative energy technology products.

Currently leading development on our newest product Horizon, the next-generation energy platform designed to monitor, optimize, and secure energy operations at scale. Building a robust infrastructure that empowers organizations to make intelligent, data-driven energy decisions with greater efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

Harmony Energy - Product & Systems Engineer

Dec 2022 - Sep 2025

Developed an embedded hardware controller, mobile app and web application for Harmony Energy, a residential Energy Management System (EMS) platform that optimizes energy assets like charging stations, battery systems and solar installations to maximize efficiency and cost savings.

Harmony Energy BV merged with Zappass NV in late August 2025, combining expertise in e-mobility and energy management.

Howest - Scientific Researcher (internship)

Feb 2022 - Jun 2022

Development of an energy management controller as part of the FlexiCap TETRA project in partnership with a large number of companies under the guidance of EElab Lemcko and Howest Energy Management.

NGDATA - Software Engineer (internship)

Jul 2017 - Sep 2019

Worked on Lily Customer Data Platform for 10 months over a 3 year period. Implemented a multi-language translation system, created a prototype and later helped build out a newer version (v4) of the CDP user interface.
